Our Annual Hanging of the Green TODAY, Sunday, November 28th following the Worship Service.   The Flower Team has everything ready to decorate the Church for Christmas.  Please make plans to stay and help.  This is always a great blessing.  Light snacks will be provided.  It has been two years since we have had the blessing of being together and decorating for Christmas.


Christmas Eve Service, December 24, 2021 at 5:00pm, held in the Old Sanctuary.  Please invite your family and friends to come with you to celebrate the birth of our Savior. 


TODAY IS THE DEADLINE…If you would like to place a Christmas Poinsettia in Memory of a loved one in the sanctuary during Christmas, please complete an order form and drop in the offering box.  Order forms/envelopes are located in the foyer magazine rackAll ORDERS are due TODAY.   If paying by check, please make payable to BRBC and indicate “Christmas Poinsettias” in the memo line.  Thank you.  If you have questions, please contact Louise Carroll.  Your choices are

Red OR White 8” Poinsettias.  Cost is $16 each. 


All our Angels have been picked from our Angel Tree.  This year the Church will be providing Christmas for two children from our communityAngel Tree Gifts are due back by Sunday, December 5, 2021.  PLEASE make sure to attach your Angel to your UNWRAPPED gift(s).  This ensures that the WMU Ministry Team know which family receives the Angel gift(s).  Please remember to pray for your Angel Tree gift child.  If you have any questions, please contact Clara Williams (540) 347-9109.  Thank you!

Ladies Gathering "Ugly" Sweater Christmas Gathering

Ladies, You’re Invited to the Ladies Gathering White Elephant/Ugly Sweater Christmas Party on Saturday, December 4th at 10am-12pm at Broad Run Baptist Church.  What to Bring?  White Elephant Gift (found free or under $8)and a Christmas Dessert or Appetizer to share.  Remember to wear your ugliest Christmas sweater. Operation Christmas Child 

Thank you to everyone who filled a Shoebox this Christmas.  As a Church we collected a total of 173 Shoeboxes.  Thank you for helping to spread the gospel all over the world.  

Team Leaders & Sunday School Teachers

If you have an announcement for the weekly bulletin, please continue to submit them to the church office by noon each Wednesday.   

Sunday School Teachers please submit your weekly attendance to the Office by Monday morning.  

Team Leaders whenever you are meeting with your ministry team, whether in-person or by some other means, please let the office know of your ministry attendance.  

Services Inside the Building/Revised COVID-19 Policy: 

In accordance with current guidelines, and until further notice, the church will continue its policy of masks as optional. This was a recommendation, not a requirement.  Therefore, until further notice, Broad Run will continue its policy of masks as optional.  If you feel safer wearing a mask, please do so.  But masks are not required at this time.  


We are grateful for the upcoming fellowship opportunities that are sorely needed and have been missing from our church life.  We also want our members to know that we are maintaining diligence and awareness toward the safety of our gatherings. We encourage and invite each of you to do the same.


Sunday School

Children's Sunday School Class, Cassandra Mitchell, Teacher, meet in the downstairs classroom at 8:45am

Middle/High School meet in the Sanctuary at 8:45am

Joy Bunch Sunday School Class (Senior Adult Ladies), Joan Downs, Teacher, meet in their  classroom at 8:45am

Co-ed Adult Sunday School Class, Bill Mitchell, Teacher, meet in the church's Fellowship Hall at 8:45am.   

Worship Hour Nursery – Nursery is provided during the Worship hour for children birth through 5 years.      


Weekly Giving

We no longer have a designated time of giving during the worship service due to COVID-19. We have provided mounted offering boxes both inside and outside the church for anyone who wishes to give their tithes and offerings via cash or check.  We encourage everyone to take advantage of on-line giving

On-Line Giving

On-Line Giving is available here on our Church website.  Select the "Give" tab to access the secure donation link to donate.  On-Line Giving will also be on your yearly giving statement.  Giving On-Line helps to keep our Counting Team safe, requiring less handling of cash or paper from the offering plates.  Tithes & Offerings can also be given each Sunday as you depart the Sanctuary in a new secure donation box or as you depart the church parking lot.  Giving can also be mailed to the Church at Broad Run Baptist Church 5143 Broad Run Church Road, New Baltimore, VA 20187.
